David Lee Hunter, 77, of Mt. Pleasant, Pa., formerly of Versailles, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016. Born April 23, 1939, in Mt. Pleasant, Pa., he was the son of the late John J. and Dorothy J. Shank Hunter. He was a retired general manager for VR Wesson. He lived in Versailles for nearly 40 years. Survivors include a son, Kelly Hunter; a daughter, Lynn Hunter; three grandchildren, Connie Hunter Sester, Lance Hunter, and Alexandria Hunter; a great-granddaughter, Madeline Johnson; a brother, John Hunter, Oklahoma; and a sister, Pam Fox, North Carolina. A son, John Paul Hunter, and a grandson, Joshua Rice, are deceased. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Rose Crest Cemetery, Versailles.
