Greta Thomas Resinger, 85, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, in Louisville. Born March 26, 1931, in Iatan, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy Wilson Thomas. A retired registered nurse, she first practiced nursing in Des Moines, Iowa, and later in Lexington. She was the past-president of the Woodford Memorial Hospital, a member of the Versailles Garden Club, and traveled abroad with the Homemakers Society of Woodford County. Survivors include two children, Jack (Dawn) Resinger, Louisville, and Nancy (Randolph Keithly), of Winchester; a stepson, David (Senia) Resinger, Versailles; two sisters, Patricia Thomas, Lexington, and Karen (James P. Sr.) O’Keefe, Omaha, Neb.; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A daughter, Kelly Resinger, and three stepsons, Jim, Paul, and John Resinger, are deceased. Services were conducted Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home by Rev. Tim Thompson. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Woodford Humane Society, P.O.
