Shawna Lee Evans, 40, of Frankfort, died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the UK Chandler Medical Center following a long battle with cancer. Born May 19, 1976, in Lexington, she was the daughter of Louise (Randy) Moore of Tennessee. She graduated with a certificate in dental assisting. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two children, Josh Hendren, Frankfort, and Brianna Hendren, Lawrenceburg; two sisters, Kaila (James) Holt, Tennessee, and Christian (Ryan) Moore, Hawaii; a brother, Terry (Ashley) Durham, Tennessee, her fiancé, Shannon Ballinger, Frankfort; two aunts, Lucy Carriss, Frankfort, and Gail Southworth, Versailles; an uncle, Marshall Evans, Frankfort; her grandmother, Sylvia Evans, Versailles; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
