Karen Alice Klein Fallon, 75, of Louisville, wife of Tom Fallon, died Wednesday, May 31, 2017. Born in April 23, 1942, Grand Rapids, Mich., she was the daughter of Norman Oscar and Thora Karen Klein and was raised in Louisville. She graduated from Durrett High School in 1960. She completed her B.S. in elementary education at the University of Kentucky and received her M.A. in education from Eastern Kentucky University. She was a teacher and administrator who taught in Kentucky, including Woodford County and Ohio, for over 25 years. In addition to her husband of 54 years, she is survived by a brother, Karl J. Klein, M.D. (Sue Ellen), Cookeville, Tenn.; two daughters, Mina Stier (John) and Kristen Zabell (Kurtis); and five grandchildren, Sam, Tori and Rachel (Stier) and Karsen and Zach (Zabell). Services were conducted Monday, June 5, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East. Burial followed in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
