Tressie Lou Workman Hatton, 84, of Versailles, widow of Frank Hatton, died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017. Born June 6, 1933, in Magoffin County, she was the daughter of the late Norma Farler and Henry Workman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Deliverance. Survivors include three daughters, Anna Bell Long, Norma Dunn, and Lucy Merrell, all of Versailles; two sons, Lacy Dunn and Jimmy Dunn, both of Versailles; a sister, Bessie Smith, Frankfort; a brother, Henry Workman Jr., Versailles; her longtime companion, Bobby B. Hall, Versailles; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren. Two daughters, Kathleen Downs and Brenda Rose, and a son, Mark Dunn, are deceased. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 21, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, by a minister from Church of Deliverance, Lexington. Burial will follow at the Midway Cemetery.
