Mildred Walton Lay, 71, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
Born on March 28, 1946, in Liberty, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ronda and Lou Ida Coleman Walton.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Douglas (Arvil), of Versailles; Susan Escobedo (Marco), of Georgetown; one sister, Sheena Ramos, of Lexington; two brothers, Thomas Walton (Diane), of Versailles; Jackie Walton (Stella), of Lawrenceburg; eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ida Lay Espinosa; a sister, Betty Vazquez; two brothers, Lewis Walton and Robert Walton
Services were held Friday, Dec. 1, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Burial followed at Rose Crest Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rodrigo Lay, Andrew Lay, Justin Lay, Lee Walton, Arvil Douglas Jr., and Marco Escobedo.
