Shirley Ann Ethington, 74, wife of Leonard Ethington, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018.
Born on Oct. 3, 1943, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of the late Georgie Brawner Hedges and Earl Hedges. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Penny (Jimmy) Miller, Cropper; a son, Curtis (Lea) Ethington, Henry County; two sisters, Debbie Strucker, and Sandy Roberts, both of Shelbyville; three brothers, Dallas Hedges, Lexington; Ray Hedges, Louisville; Stevie Hedges, Arizona; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Midway Cemetery with Brother Jim Baxter officiating. Serving as casket bearers were Jimmy Miller, Nicholas Holcomb, Andrew Mason, Jeff Biggs, Bobby Roberts, and C.D. Et
