Regina Mitchell McDaniel, 55, wife of Kenneth D. McDaniel Jr., died Monday, July 2, 2018.
Born on Aug. 10, 1962, in Georgetown, she spent her life working with animals.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Barbara Lunsford, Lexington; her father, Fred (Nancy) Mitchell, Lexington; a daughter, Elizabeth (Matt Trebelhorn) Jenkins, Frankfort; a son, James (Michelle) Douglas, Lexington; a step-son, Doug (Katy) McDaniel, Midway; two sisters, Robin (Efrain) Arroyave, Florida; and Tammy (Brian) VanSteenburgh, Scott County; two step-sisters, Jane and Marty; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Katie Coomer.
A graveside service was held Friday, July 6, at Midway Cemetery, by Pastor Mary Seeger Weese.
