Irene L. Searcy, 85, widow of Shirley Searcy, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at her home after a long illness.
Born in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Jessie Long.
She is survived by a sister, Syble Baker; a granddaughter, Heather N. Martin, both of Lexington; and a son-in-law, Dale Martin, Nicholasville. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Ford; and a daughter, Teresa S. Martin.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel, with Dr. Robert Baker and Rev. Craig Tackett officiating.
