Doug Coubert, 54, husband of Debra Steele Coubert, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018.
Born on Dec. 14, 1964, in Versailles, he was the son of the late Otis Coubert and Margaret Cox Coubert. He was a maintenance technician for Topy America Inc.
In addition to his wife of 31 years, he is survived by his mother, Margaret Coubert; two daughters, Amanda (Mark) Spears, Berea; and Beth Coubert, Versailles; two brothers, James “Jimmy” Ray Coubert, Lawrenceburg; and Shorty Coubert, Midway; two grandchildren, Cameron Douglas and Sophia Ann; and mother-in-law, Elza Steele. He was preceded in death by his father. Services were held Thursday, Jan. 3, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, Versailles, by Pastor Todd Lester. Burial followed in Midway Cemetery. His friends served as pallbearers.
