Shirley Jean Schell Greenup, 75, died Sunday, June 2, 2019. Born on June 13, 1943, in Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Nettie Church Schell. She was employed with the Office of the Court for 37 years. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth (Tammy) Epling, Lexington; Clarence (Stephanie) Epling, Frankfort; and Paul (Linda) Epling, Stanford; a sister, Barb Pyles, London; two brothers, Wes Schell, London; and Jimmy Schell, Versailles; six grandchildren, Megan Petit, Amanda Burrows, Logan Epling, Caleb Epling, Luke Epling and Destiny Wells; and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Wednesday, June 5, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Sherman War-field. Serving as casket bearers were Tony Music, Tyler Burrows, Logan Epling, Clarence Epling, Kenneth Epling and Ronnie Pyles. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the Bluegrass.
