Nellie G. Donnell, 91, widow of Joseph J. Donnell, died Tuesday, May 19, 2020. Born on Oct. 28, 1928, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Edna McAnish Goins. She was a member of Versailles Baptist Church. Survivors include three children, Larry (Debbie) Donnell, Garrard County; Beverly (Flint) Holbrook, South Carolina; and Bonnie (Mike) Perry, Lawrenceburg; a sister, Virgie Shuck; five grandchildren, Christy Bicknell, Amanda Ellis, Laura Richard, Nathan Holbrook and Flint Holbrook; and five great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held Friday, May 22, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort. Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, was in charge of arrangements.
