Debra Ann Major McDill, 70, of Conehatta, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at the University Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Born on Jan. 18, 1950, in Versailles, she was the daughter of the late George Major and Faye Smither Major. She loved her animals and working in her flower beds. She is survived by a son, Joseph (Vicky) Alan McDill; her husband of 52 years, Jack McDill; mother, Faye Flora; four grandchildren, Hobie McDill, Conehatta; Logan McDill, both of Conehatta, Mississippi; Tanner Davis. Starkville, Mississippi; and Gracie McDill, Conehatta, Mississippi; nieces and nephews; lots of friends; two brothers, Mike Major, Midway; and Richard Major, Versailles. She was preceded in death by a son, Carl Jack McDill II; a grandson, CJ McDill; two brothers, Jodie Thomas Major and Alan Dale Major; and a sister, Emily Michelle Major Loper. She was buried Tuesday, July 28, in Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, in Mississippi. Pallbearers were Hobie McDill, Logan McDill, Tanner Davis, Bobby Joe McDill, Eddie Harrison and Jimmy Harrison. She will be greatly missed.
