Ricardo Ramirez, 66, husband of Silvia Ramirez, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Born on March 26, 1954, in Guadalajara, Mexico, he was the son of the late Ricardo Ramirez and Crecencia Vazquez. He was a sales team leader for Preferred Equine, Jim Herbener and others. He was also a Yellow Cab driver for 31 years in Lexington.
In addition to his wife of 40-1/2 years, he is survived by a daughter, Nadxiieli Ramirez, Versailles; 13 siblings, Maria Del Refugio, Claudio, Ana Bertha, Roman, Maria Elena, Juan Carlos, Maria De la Luz, Alberto, Rosa Imelda, Patricia, Maria Concepcion, Fernando, Francisco Javier; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held Thursday, Jan. 14, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home.
