Donald Ray Paul, 84, husband of Mary J. Roberts Paul, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, at Bluegrass Community Hospital, Versailles.
Born on May 21, 1936, he was the son of the late John and Gladys Elizabeth Fields Paul. He was a graduate of Versailles High School and retired from IBM, where he was a systems analyst. He was a member of Troy Presbyterian Church and Buford Landmark #41.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Diana (Jim) F. Ney, Nicholasville; and Lorri G. Paul, Lexington; three grandchildren, Matthew (MacKenzie) Frankenburger, Nicholasville; Emily (Shelby) Schott, Louisville; and Zachary (Jourdan) Frankenburger, Nicholasville; and six great-grandchildren, Braxton Frankenburger, Cason Frankenburger, Finley Frankenburger, Harper Frankenburger, Ava Schott and Jack Frankenburger.
A private memorial service will be held at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 until 3 p.m. today, Thursday, Feb. 4, at the funeral home.
