Linda Purvis Mitchell, 71, widow of Edward Mitchell, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021.
Born on Oct. 14, 1949, in Versailles, she was the daughter of the late Beckham and Frances Whitaker Purvis. She was retired from Rand McNally in Versailles and was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Christina Prather, Midway; a grandchild, Nix Prather; and a great-grandchild, Aiden Prather.
A graveside service was held Saturday, Jan. 30, at Midway Cemetery, by Brother Mark Simms. Casket bearers were David Purvis, Randy Purvis, Joey Lathrem, Joey Bentley, Gary Sacra and Danny Evans.
