Donald Sharp, 79, husband of Carol Morgan Sharp, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021.
Born on March 5, 1941, in Versailles, he was the son of the late Wade and Margaret Groves Sharp. He was a member of Versailles Church of God.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Donna Kay Lee, Versailles; a brother, Ronald Sharp, Frankfort; two grandchildren; Santana Perkins and Ashley Robinson; and two great-grandchildren, Lynnlee Perkins and John Perkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Robinson.
A private service was held Monday, Feb. 1, at Versailles Church of God, by Brother Frank Layne. Casket bearers were Brad Jones, Ervin Manley, Ronald Sharp Jr., Dean Newby, Tom Newsome, Ronald Owens, Mark Robinson and Jim Rheude. Burial followed in Rose Crest Cemetery.
