David Alan Downey, 53, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, at Baptist Health Lexington.
Born on Feb. 27, 1967, in Fayette County, he was the son of Paul and Linda Neal Downey. He was a graduate of Woodford County High School and a click list employee of Kroger in Versailles.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Glenn Downey, Versailles; a nephew, Christopher Downey, Versailles; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leonard and Helen Neal, and paternal grandparents, Ben and Geneva Downey.
