In the April 1 issue, in a story about the Versailles man arrested at UK
Chandler Hospital on weapons, explosives and other charges, we wrote
that the public information officer (PIO) for the ATF’s Louisville field
division did not return a call from the Sun. After the story was
published, the PIO said there was no record of the call. The Sun did
call a number believed to be with the ATF, but the story should not have
mentioned the name of the PIO, who we believe did not receive the call.
The Sun regrets the error.
