Virginia Dixie McClain Crabb, 89, died Friday, April 16, 2021, at the
Hospice Care Center, Lexington.
Born on Jan. 22, 1932, in Knoxville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of
the late C.B. E. and Evelyn McClain. She worked for many years in the
bindery at Rand McNally.
Survivors include three children, Teresa (Van) Hutchins, Florida;
Jeffrey (Kim) Crabb, Lexington; and Charlie Crabb, Versailles; a sister,
Mary Katherine Farr, Tennessee; two grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bartley
McClain.
Services were conducted Tuesday, April 20, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral
Home. Interment followed in Rose Crest Cemetery.
