Ronald Sharp, 80, husband of Jo Ann Mitchell Sharp, died Thursday, April
22, 2021.
Born on March 5, 1941, in Versailles, he was the son of the late Wade
and Margaret Groves Sharp. He was a plumber for Frantz, Inc. and was a
member of Versailles Church of God.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Rhonda (Mike)
Donoho, Kim Waford and Ronald (Tina) Corburn Sharp, all of Versailles;
two stepchildren, Bobbi Jo Warner and Jackie Whitis, both of Frankfort;
and eight grandchildren, Cynthia Esham, Samantha Maynard, Misty Warford,
Adam Warford, Heather (Robert) Smith, Chrissy (Jason) Sanders, Frankie
(Jeff) Wilson, and Jessica Sharp. In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by his first wife of 48 years, Helen Sharp; a son,
Wade Sharp; five brothers and four sisters.
Services were held Monday, April 26, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill
Avenue, by the Rev. Frank Layne and the Rev. Tim Jump. Burial followed
in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Adam Warford, Irvine
Manley, Harold Warner, Tyler Vogler, Jeff Wilson and Jason Sanders.
Honorary casket bearers were Hank Mazyck and Robert Smith Jr.
