Donald Edward Simpson, 81, widower of Sarah Jo Robinson Simpson, died
Friday, June 18, 2021, at his home.
Born on Feb. 19, 1940, in Woodford County, he was the son of the late
George Edward Simpson and Catherine Dorsey Thomas. He was a member of
Midway Assembly of God and worked 28 years at Kuhlman Electric.
Survivors include three children, Bryan (Heather) William Simpson, Scott
(Michele) Simpson, both of Versailles; and Tammy Reed, Danville; three
sisters, Joyce Rose, Kathy Roe, both of Versailles; and Dorothy Choates,
Frankfort; a brother, Dwayne (Connie) Simpson, Lancaster; 11
grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services were held Wednesday, June 23, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home.
Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort.
