Lois Jane Gill, 90, wife of Malcolm Gill, passed away Saturday, June 26,

2021.

She was born on Dec. 3, 1930 to the late Alfred and Marguerite

Seitzinger in Frackville, Pennsylvania. Lois was a telephone operator

for Bell Telephone Company before she married Malcolm. She was a devoted

wife and mother and will be missed greatly. She was an avid reader and

was a long time volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, where she

used her knitting talents to provide caps and blankets.

In addition to her husband, Malcolm of 70 years, Lois is survived by

three sons, Michael Gill, Frankfort; David Gill, Annandale, Virginia;

and John (Elizabeth ) Gill, Arlington, Virginia; and a daughter, Deborah

Gill, Versailles. Additional surviving family members include a sister,

Dorothy Host Wagner of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Nicholas Cassens,

Amanda Gill, Lindsey Smith, Andrew Smith, Jacob Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell,

Madison Gill and Max Gill; and great-grandchildren, Odin Grubbs and

Kyano Gill-Hampden. A special friend, David Stephens from Versailles,

will be greatly remembered and appreciated. In addition to her parents,

she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Seitzinger.

No services are planned at this time. Clark Funeral Home, Versailles,

was in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to any public

library or Bluegrass Hospice.
