Lillie Barrett Lynch, 75, died Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Baptist

Health, Lexington.

Born on Dec. 19, 1945, in Booneville, she was the daughter of the late

Jim and Eva Gross Barrett

She is survived by five children, Kimberly Menique Bentley (Daniel

“Tony” Alford), Wilmore; Jennifer (Floyd) Reynolds, Paris; Randy

Metcalf, Nicholaslville; Daniel Spivey, Richmond; and Luke Spivey,

Nicholasville; a brother, Benton Barrett, Winchester; 19 grandchildren;

and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was

preceded in death by a son, Timmy Cooper; and six siblings, Virgie

Spivey, Della Mae Metcalf, Bill Barrett, James Barrett, Nancy Osborne

and Bessie Vest.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at Blackburn &

Ward Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Preston Cooper, Christopher

Spivey, James Spivey, Daniel “Tony” Alford, Derek Cooper and Danny

Spivey. Interment will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be

from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, July 16, at the funeral home.
