Carol Ann Baker Buell, 68, wife of Ethan Buell, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021.
Born on Dec. 4, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Olin and Constance Slaughter Baker. She was an accountant for the Kentucky Department of Education and a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Becca (Dubs) Williams, Richmond; a son, Ethan “E.J.” Buell Jr.; two brothers, Alan (Beth) Baker, Cincinnati; and Greg (Barbie) Baker, Evansville; and five grandchildren, Cameron Ikard, Camille Case, Greyson Williams, Oliver Williams and Kaylin Jackey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Buell Jackey; and a sister, Judy Baker Reynolds.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, by the Rev. Todd Lester. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1 until 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
