Donald E. Creech, 80, died on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, in Wilmore.
He was born on March 10, 1941, to the late Maura and Ruby Creech. Don graduated from Versailles High School in 1959 and attended Georgetown College and Cumberland College. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Don managed the mens’ department of Creech’s, and in retirement, he worked for the Kroger Company. Don was a faithful Christian and a lifelong Baptist. He was always very kind and never met a stranger. He will be truly missed.
Donald is survived by three siblings, Glenda Creech, Wilmore; Jerry (Pat) Creech, Memphis, Tennessee; and Ken (Patty) Creech, Lexington; a nephew, Jeff (Yvette) Henderson, Burlington; five nieces, Jennifer Henderson, Lexington; Ashley (Bob) Creech-Caruso, Jacksonville, Florida; Lynsey (David) Trager, Louisville; Laura Creech, Lexington; and Susan (Mason) Bramer, Louisville; two great-nieces; three great-nephews; and many special cousins and friends.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Lexington Cemetery.
