Louis C. Sutherland, 78, husband of Peggy Wilson Sutherland, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021.
Born on April 1, 1943, in Woodford County, he was the son of the late Lois Terrell and Florence Margaret Nichols Sutherland. He was a painter for Morris Neal and Larry Yocum Painting and a member of Glens Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Johnny Sutherland, Owingsville; two grandchildren, Steven Sutherland and Justin Sutherland; and a great-grandson, Linkin Sutherland.
Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill Avenue. Casket bearers were Michael Currens, Steven Sutherland, Justin Sutherland, Linkin Sutherland, Steve Watts, Tony Taylor and Johnny Sutherland. Burial followed in Rose Crest Cemetery.
