Joe Long, 75, passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 2021.
He was born in Campton to the late Bernard and Bertha Peck Long on June 17, 1946. Joe worked on the Mitchell Farm for 39 years and Woodstock Farm for the last 14 years. When not on the farm, he enjoyed hunting and raising beagles.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Anna Bell Long, Versailles; sister, Lois Byrd, Campton; stepdaughters, Penny Wilson, Peggy Hager, Roberta (Leslie) Ramey, all of Versailles; and Angie Moreno, Georgetown; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Long and Barbara Long; and his brother, David Long.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill Avenue.
