Brenda Joyce Gerth, 80, wife of Arthur Gerth, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, at her home in Versailles. Born on April 28, 1941, in Pineville, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Susan Sergant Reeves. She was a graduate of Blackstar High School and worked in the cafeteria at Jessie Clark Middle School in Lexington. She was a member of Crosswoods Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband of 50 years, she is survived by two sons, Matthew Gerth, Belfast, Ireland; and Mark Gerth, Lexington; and a brother, Jerry Reeves, Burnside. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Reeves.
Services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 7, at Crosswoods Baptist Church in Nicholasville.
