Louis Breck Veatch, 87, of Versailles, husband of June Johnson-Veatch, passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at Baptist Health.
He was born on Nov. 28, 1933, in Harrodsburg, to the late Jess and Maud Hurst Veatch. Louis was a member of Tates Creek Christian Church, retired after 34 years from IBM, and worked at Tates Creek Golf Course for 16 years.
Along with his wife June, he is survived by his children, Breck (Janet) Veatch, Melissa (Michael) Carideo and Eric (Jeletta) Johnson; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Veatch; a daughter, Michael Ann Dye; and a sister and brother.
Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Kerr Brothers, Harrodsburg Road, Lexington. Burial followed in Lexington Cemetery.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Crusaders Sunday school class at Tates Creek Christian.
