Carl Lenvil “Len” Ellis Jr., 56, husband of Lori Ellis, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021.
Born on Nov. 30, 1965, in Danville, he was the son of Carl and Genille Ellis. He worked for Keeneland.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Carson Ellis, Hebron; three stepdaughters, Abigail Buettner, Allison Henninger, both of Lexington; and Sharon Henniger, Midway; three sisters, Tina Ellis, New Hampshire; Pam (Will) Ellis-Phipps, North Carolina; and Neal (Terry) Ellis Heilman, Colorado; two grandchildren, Aiden and Lyla Kirkland; and nieces and nephews, Amanda, Tyler, Cameron, Alex, Ellie, Gracie, Addie and Lily.
A gathering of family and friends was held Saturday, Dec. 11, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Old Friends Farm.
