Norma Jean Littrell Cornish, 83, wife of Donald R. Cornish, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021.
Born on Sept. 2, 1938, in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Edith Million Littrell. She worked for Hollands Contract Carpet and was a former member of South Elkhorn Baptist Church. She was an organist and pianist for over 50 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Judy (Randall) Cornish Dowell, Lexington; two step-grandsons, John and Barry Dowell; and a step-great-granddaughter, Sophia Grace Dowell.
Services were held Monday, Dec. 20, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill Avenue, by Dr. Mike James. Burial followed in Rose Crest Cemetery. Casket bearers were Joe Routt, Randall Dowell, Don Wells, Allan Springfield, John Dowell and John Giles. Honorary casket bearers were Barry Dowell, Keith Littrell and Owen Roberts.
