Staffond Lee Devine died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, at Bluegrass Community Hospital.
Born on Nov. 28, 1968, he was the son of the late Dorothy Marie Devine Schooler. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Versailles.
He is survived by two children, Destini Sanders, Lexington; and Xavier Comley, Lexington; two sisters, Janet Jones, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Atokey Jones, Lexington; a nephew, Jalen Wilkinson, Lexington; three aunts, Barbara (Wallace Sr.) Morton, Lexington; Diane (Sean) Demus and Genelle Devine, both of Versailles; and two uncles, Charles (Tracey) Devine and Eugene (Doris) Devine Jr., both of Lexington. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Catherine and Eugene Devine Sr.; three aunts, Anna Jones, Georgianne Mosby and Anita Devine; an uncle, Clifford Devine; and a cousin, Eugene Devine III.
Services were held Saturday, Jan. 1, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home, by the Rev. Dr. Floyd Greene. Pallbearers were Adrian Wilkinson, George Blair, Richard Washington Jr., Joey Cushingberry, Jonathan Higgins, Juan Fender and Joseph Richardson, Honorary pallbearers were Wallace Morton Jr., Shamarr Demus, Jeremiah Morton, Anthony Devine, Darrell Devine, Jalen Wilkinson, Quin Jones and Manson Jones.
