Norma Kaye Ferrell Dearing died Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, in Versailles.
Born on June 18, 1933, in Louisa, she was the only daughter of the late Charles and Annie Allison Ferrell. The family moved to Greenville when she was in her teens and where Kaye graduated from Greenville High School. She later attended Georgetown College, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and attained an associate degree.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years, Jim Dearing; three children, Mike (Kim) Dearing, Melinda Kaye Dearing and Josie (David) Flowers; two grandchildren, Hannah (Josh) Dunn and Nick (Lauren) Child; and three great-grandchildren, Lydia, Judah and Everly.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville.
