Carol Morgan Sharp, 79, widow of Donald Sharp, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022.
Born on June 15, 1943, in Bourbon County, she was the daughter of the late Gobel and Irene Poland Morgan. She retired from Sylvania and was a member of the Versailles Church of God.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Kaye Lee, Versailles; a son, Dean Newby, Versailles; two grandchildren, Santana Perkins-Cooper and Ashley Robinson; and four great-grandchildren, Lynnlee Perkins, John Perkins, Waylon Cooper and Addison Cooper. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Robinson.
Services were held Monday, Nov. 14, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill Avenue. Casket bearers were Brad Jones, Ronald Owens, Tom Newsome, Mark Robinson, Steve Cooper and Dean Newby. Burial followed in Rose Crest Cemetery.
