Alfred Bush Guy Jr., 60, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, at his home in Midway.
Born on Jan. 17, 1963, in Versailles, he was the son of Alfred B. Guy Sr. and the late Jestene Washington Guy. He worked for many years as a horse groomer, the last few years with Old Friends Farm. He was a member of the National Guard and a member of St. Matthew AME Church, Midway.
In addition to his father, he is survived by two sisters, Pauline (Butch) Fain, Lexington, and Jessica (Kent) Raglin, Versailles; three nieces, Krystle Raglin, Brittany Roark and Ashley Raglin; three great-nieces, Azaria Oliver, Kinsley Patton and Kayley Patton; two aunts, Mary (Barry) Roberts and Lassie M. Washington; and a host of cousins. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca E. Guy.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Feb. 23, at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home. Masks are optional but encouraged for the gathering.
