Nellie Katherine Kendrick, 86, widow of Paul Kendrick, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2023.
Born on Jan. 13, 1937, in Stanford, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Frona Hoskins Berry. She worked in security for Murray Guard.
She is survived by three children, Mike Kendrick, Versailles; Debbie (Jerry) McGinnis, Harrodsburg; and John (Teresa) Kendrick, Versailles; 10 grandchildren, Mike (Jackie) Lear, Keith Lear, John (Lisa) Kendrick Jr., Michelle (David) Collier, Nancy (Derrick) Loman, Stacie Griffin, Jerry McGinnis Jr., Livia (Seth) McGinnis, Julia (Jason) Mullins and Sara (John) Abrams; 22 great-grandchildren, Jasmine Lear, Kaden Lear, Karson Lear, Tate Lear, Piper Lear, Parker Harris, Andy Lear, Daniel Lear, Brandon Lear, Hayden Lear, Emma Moore, Jackson Moore, Mackenzie Abney, Logan Sanders, Kaitlyn Sanders, Madison Loman, Iliza Griffin, Alexis Griffin, and CJ Griffin, Jase Mullins, Hannah and Wyatt Abrams; and five great-great-grandchildren, Grayson Vires, Emmerson Vires, Camden Coubert, Nevaeh Lear, and Kori Cummins. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Chris Kendrick, and a grandson, Smitty Crews.
Services were held Thursday, Feb. 9, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill Avenue, by the Rev. Don Berry. Casket bearers were Andy Lear, Daniel Lear, Brandon Lear, Parker Harris, Karson Lear, Tate Lear and Camden Coubert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
