Marian “Dede” Buffin, 61, widow of Danny Buffin, passed away peacefully
Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, surrounded by her family in Versailles, Ky. She
was born in Louisville, Ky. on Feb. 23, 1962, to the late Mary Louise
Browning and Silas Newton Boren, Jr.
Mrs. Buffin had worked as a manager for the Family Dollar for many
years. She also took pride in being a mother and spent many years
raising her boys and several foster children along the way. Mrs. Buffin
was a loving mother, sister and friend.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Daniel Buffin, Dusty
(Ashley) Buffin; sister, Debra Perry; grandchildren, William Buffin,
Peyton Buffin, Savannah Buffin, Elijah Crawford; and several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her husband, Danny, and her parents, she is preceded in
death by her two sisters, Rose Rita Bradford, and Stella Louise Spencer.
Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, from 5-7p.m. at Clark
Funeral Home, Versailles, Ky. Funeral will be Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023, at
11a.m. at the funeral home, Edward Nichols officiating, with graveside
service immediately following at 12 p.m., Sunset Memorial Gardens,
Frankfort, Ky. Serving as casket bearers are Dylan Smith, Tommy Perry,
Patrick Crowe, Darrell Crowe, Tyson Hill, and Charles Nichols.
