Sallie Beam Boling, 86, widow of Harry Gardener Boling passed away on

Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, in Hebron, Ky.  She was born in Lexington, Ky.

on Jan. 6, 1938, to the late John Rust Beam and Sallie Ramsey Beam.

Sallie was a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church, Lexington, Ky.

where she was a member of the sanctuary choir.  She was a 1956 graduate

of Henry Clay High School and attended the University of Kentucky where

she was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority.  She was also a member of

the Lexington Woman’s Club where she served her community.  After 31

years as an accountant for the state of Kentucky, she retired in 2001. 

Sallie was a devout Christian and dog lover who enjoyed tending her

backyard garden.

She is survived by one daughter, Gennie Franck (Todd) Bridwell; three

sons, Kevin (Ronda) Franck, Jimmy (Nancy) Boling and Jeff Boling;

grandchildren, Will and Emily Franck, Aros (Viktor Carter) Franck,

Krissie (Carlos) Almeida, Colin and Allison Bridwell, David Savage,

Brandon, Brady (Becca), Chase, Chaney, Carter Boling, Jon Thomas

(Rachel) Boling, Ethan Boling, Brooke (Jonathan) Spears and Janae (Gage)

Young; great-grandchildren, Wally and Will Boling and Maria and Sofia

Almeida; one sister, Nancye Beuris.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Katie Brandenburg, and

twin brothers, David and Dan Beam.

The visitation was held 4-7p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at Clark Funeral

Home, Versailles, Ky. A visitation was held from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday,

Jan. 31, followed by a service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial

followed in Rosecrest Cemetery, Versailles, Ky. Serving as casket

bearers were Sallie’s grandchildren.
