Ralph Centers, age 85, a beloved husband, cherished father, adored

grandfather, and respected member of the community, passed away on Feb.

13, 2024, in Sebring, Fla. He was born on Feb. 17, 1938, in Clark

County, Ky., to Cash Centers and Lillie Myrtle Neal Centers.

Ralph was a devoted family man who valued his loved ones above all else.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Danny Centers.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Wilberta “Bert” Centers, and his

daughter, Shannon Diane Centers. He also leaves behind his stepchildren,

Terri Troutman, David Strange, and Nancy Carol Wilson (Kevin); his

brother, Denzil Centers (Linda); and his sister, Eula Jane Cloyd

(Johnny). Ralph’s legacy will continue through his 35 grandchildren and

great-grandchildren, who were a source of great joy in his life.

Professionally, Ralph dedicated many years of service as an IBM

Technician, showcasing his technical expertise and commitment to his work.

Ralph was an active member of the Calvary Church of Sebring and served

as an elder in the congregation. His strong faith guided him in all

aspects of his life, providing him with the strength to overcome any

obstacles he encountered. He was a true pillar of the community, and his

presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

In his free time, Ralph enjoyed pursuing various hobbies and interests.

He found solace in fishing, finding peace and tranquility by the water’s

edge. He also had a passion for working on golf carts, using his

mechanical skills to bring these vehicles to life. Music was another

love of his, and he could often be found playing the harmonica.

Furthermore, Ralph displayed his artistic side by crafting knives from

deer antlers, showcasing his creativity and skill.

Ralph Centers will be remembered as a kind-hearted, compassionate, and

genuine individual who touched the lives of many. He was a devoted

family man, a loyal friend, and a faithful servant of his community.

Ralph’s memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the

privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Ralph. Your legacy will live on in the hearts of those

you loved and inspired.
