Baugh

James Gary Baugh, 76, husband of Janet Baugh, died Feb. 23, 2024, at St.

Joseph Hospital.  He was born March 15, 1947, in Hamilton, Ohio to the

late James Albert and Glenna Downey Baugh.  He worked for over 35 years

for IBM. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, and

was a faithful member of Journey Church.

Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Janet Smith

Baugh, Versailles, son, James Gary (Crystal) Baugh, Jr., Versailles,

Melissa Baugh, Versailles, siblings, Michael Wells, Lexington, Jeffery

Wells, Nicholasville, Jennifer Wells, Nicholasville, grandchildren,

Christopher (Dayne) Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, McKenzie Baugh, Morgan

Baugh, and stepmother, Ann Baugh.

Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28,

2024, at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be

conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024, also at the funeral

home with Randy Nation officiating.  Burial will follow in Crestlawn

Memorial Gardens, Georgetown where pallbearers will be Christopher

Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, Gary Baugh, Jr., Bryan Elliott, Michael Wells

and Chase Lancaster.  Honorary pallbearers will be James Pendley, Dean

Vest, Ricky Robinson, Len Greathouse, Bill Blake, and Tom Hoben. 

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Anderson County Sportsman’s

Club, 1070 Old Joe Road, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342. Family and friends are
