Alma Kate DeVary, 98, wife of the late Forest DeVary died Friday, April
26, 2024.
Born on March 14, 1926, in Tompkinsville, Ky, she was the daughter of
Buford and Minnie Belle Rhoton Jobe.
Survivors include her sisters, Minnie (Ricky) Jones of Tompkinsville and
Jennie Beasley of Tompkinsville; her granddaughters, Amy (Kevin) Moore
of Lexington, Jill DeVary of Lexington, and Kali DeVary of Lexington;
her great-grandchildren, Bailey, Avyn, Karter, Alla, Ryli, and Keo
Brooks; and her daughter-in-law, Mary Lois (Roger) Kanatzar of
Versailles. She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Thomas DeVary.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at Clark Funeral Home,
Rose Hill Ave, Versailles. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Gardens,
Frankfort, Kentucky.
