It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Jo Simpson Lafoe on August 9, 2024, at the age of 77. Pamela was born on November 12, 1946, in Frankfort, Ky. to the late Clark and Birdie Congleton Simpson. Pamela will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, David Marshall Lafoe. She will also be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her children, David Anthony Lafoe ‘Tony’ (Teresa) and Carrie Elizabeth Adkins (Jim); grandchildren, Savannah Hudson, Shelby Lafoe, Alexsandra Lafoe ‘Lexi’, William Lafoe ‘Kaleb’, Cole Lafoe, Hadley Adkins; great-grandchild, Carter Hudson; brothers-in-law, Brad Lafoe (Christine) and James Ward; sister-in-law, Della Rose; as well as numerous cousins and many special friends. She is preceded in death by a very close cousin, JoAnn Norris Caudill, and her husband Scott Caudill. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 22, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, in Versailles, Ky. Visitation starts at 4:30 p.m., and service is at 6 p.m. Flowers may be sent to the Kingdom Hall of JW with delivery between 1-3 p.m. day of service.
