Rosanne Marie Thomas, born March 3, 1942, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025.
She is survived by her son, Mark S. Thomas, and daughter-in-law, Erin Chandler, of Versailles; son, Kevin A. Thomas, and his longtime companion, Meg Gravil, of Lexington, Kentucky; and daughter, Kelly M. Thomas of San Francisco.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Molnar, née Horvath; father, Frank Molnar; sister, Barbara Sirotnik; brother, Steven Molnar; and beloved cousin, JoAnne Trapani.
Rosanne spent her life helping others. For decades, she was a registered nurse at the Albert B Chandler Hospital, working largely in the burn ward and neonatal intensive care. In the latter part of her career, she aided veterans while working at the Lexington VA Medical Center.
She adored her ever-growing and blooming flower gardens in the front and back yard. She will be missed dearly by her children, family and many friends.
