Mary Frances Foster Lucas, 88, widow of Birl Lucas, of Versailles, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.
Born in Winchester, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Lester L. and Ethel Rea Strahan Foster.
Survivors include a son, Jeffery (Pam) E. Lucas, Nonesuch; a daughter, Sherry (Clive) Gooch, Sebastian, Florida; a daughter-in-law, Nona Perez, Versailles; five grandchildren, Steven (Page) Foster, Versailles; Lorrie (Dave) Foster, Illinois; Heather (Tony) Hartgrove, Mt Sterling; Jeffery W. Lucas, and Bradley R. Lucas, both of Lexington; four great-grandchildren, Audrey, Jack, Alaina and Brayden; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven Ray Foster.
A private graveside service was held by the Rev. Dale Ragland.
