Susan Wren Shelton, 64, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 1,
2021, despite the heroic effort of her neighbors, with her friends by
her side.
The daughter of the late Thomas and Reba Hubbard Shelton, Susan was born
on April 21, 1957 in Covington.
Susan is survived by her sisters, Nancy (James) Jennings, Crestwood; and
Pat Koppman, California; as well as her nieces and nephews, Suzanne,
Todd, Lori, Jim, Mark, Amy and Lisa. In addition to her parents, Thomas
and Reba Hubbard Shelton, Susan was preceded in death by a sister,
Barbara Gardner.
Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, immediately
followed by a service at 6 p.m., at Midway Christian Church, 123 East
Bruen Street, Midway.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made
to the Woodford Humane Society or to a charity of your choice.
