In the Aug. 16 issue in the story about the candidates running in the nonpartisan races, we incorrectly stated that Debby Edelen is the 5th District Woodford Board of Education member and is not running for reelection. That person is Margie Cleveland. Edelen’s seat is not up for election this year. In the Aug. 16 issue in the Woodford Fiscal Court story, we mistakenly referred to “Smith” when quoting Woodford Road Engineer Bo Wilson. We regret the error. Also, we’d like to make clear that the Aug. 22 brunch to honor city and county employees for their service during and after the July 20 storm was funded privately by Judge-Executive John Coyle, Versailles Mayor Brian Traugott and others. No government funds were involved. The Sun regrets the errors.
