Sue Carol Etherington, 77, wife of Robert “Bob” Etherington, died Thursday, March 7, 2019.
Born on Nov. 17, 1941, in Frankfort, she was the daughter of the late Buster Cook and Dorothy Montigue Tuggle. She worked for Jim Beam as an administrative clerk. Sue was a member of Corinth Christian Church in Scott County, loved to read, work crossword puzzles and play bingo.
In addition to her husband of 52 years, she is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Etherington, Frankfort; two sons, Mitch (Jeana) Etherington, Frankfort; and Rodger (Pamela) Etherington, Memphis; a brother, Edward Tuggle, Texas; and nine grandchildren, Jake Etherington, Andrea Etherington, Dalton Flora, Reagan Etherington, Bianca Davis, Roman Oates, Ryan Oates and Reese Oates. Services were held Tuesday, March 12, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the UK Children’s Hospital.
