Ann English Brock, 79, wife of Bobby Brock, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021.
Born on March 18, 1942, in Versailles, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Vaught and Minnie Lynch Smith English. She was a member of Journey Church and retired as a payroll coordinator for Occidental Island Creek Coal. She was also a real estate agent for Mays and Associates Real Estate.
In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by two sons, Robert (Karen) Brock, Versailles; and Joseph (Michelle) Brock, Nicholasville; a sister, Jean Kyle, Tennessee; two brothers, Tom English, Lawrenceburg; and Jack English, South Carolina; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sue English; and four brothers, Willis Smith, Jim English, Ray Smith and Ben English.
Services were held Saturday, Aug. 14, at Journey Church, by the Rev. Randy Nation.
