Gary Michael “Mickey” Luttrell, 73, husband of Darlene Walton Luttrell, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, at Frankfort Regional Hospital.
He was the son of the late Lonnie Greene and Leatha Lay Luttrell. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Lighthouse Apostolic Church Versailles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mary (Sergio) Gaona, Lawrenceburg; three sons, Jessie (Amanda) Luttrell, Mike Luttrell, Nicholasville; and Gary Luttrell, Lexington; a brother, Larry DeWayne Luttrell, Adair County; a sister, Dianne Tillett, Lexington; and several grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Freida Barker; and six brothers, Kenneth Luttrell, Earl Luttrell, Charles Luttrell, Dean Luttrell, Bobby Luttrell and Garnett Luttrell.
Services were conducted Monday, Aug. 23, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Austin Hawkins, Austin Luttrell, Jonathon Luttrell, Jamie Walton, Ricco Lay and Edwin Gaona. Honorary pallbearer was Hunter Luttrell. Interment followed in Rose Crest Cemetery with military honors.
